There Are No Random Acts

“That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind.” This quote from the novel, “The Five People You Meet In Heaven”, can be interpreted in many different ways, depending on the person. To me, this quote means that no one is insignificant or alone. Every individual person has or will affect someone else. The small smile you give someone could completely change the way that their day is going. If one person was removed from a situation, the outcome would completely change. Also, nobody is alone. It is important to realize that if you weren’t you, a lot of people’s lives would change. This quote does an excellent job of explaining that. Everyone is connected in one way or another, and every decision will change something in yours or someone else’s lives. Even if you’ve never met a person, there is still a possibility that you have changed part of there lives. No action or person can be separated or taken away without changing something.
